Wordless Wednesday: Irises in bloom

I love the fact that my irises are almost always in bloom on June 10th. It was my mom's birthday, and they were her favorites. Almost like a little hello from heaven.

What beautiful iris! They match well with your blog - and one of my favorite colors. Great job.

Happy Wordless!

Our irises have come and gone already. You must live north. Beautiful picture!

Beautiful photo... I love the bud that hasn't yet unfurled. And what a nice connection to your mother. She sends such lovely messages from the other side.

What a gorgeous picture!! Irises grow really well here and sometimes we go to the iris farm to pick our own. It's a huge field full of every color iris you can imagine. It sounds like something your mom would've loved.

Oh thanks for the visits ladies! For the record, you're right, she really was as beautiful as they are, for who she was as much as what she looked like. I have a wonderful heritage.

The iris farm sounds amazing Heather! I've never heard of such a thing.
