...there's a new kid in the kitchen!
Baking with Mona (as the grandkids call her)
is one of Bethany's favorite Christmas traditions.
I even got to help.
These candies are named after Martha.
Not Martha Stewart.
Martha Washington.
Have you ever heard of them?
We make vanilla, coconut, mint, and the favorite...maple! YUM!
AND, there's Mona's famous waffles.
They are legendary.
Bethany's other favorite pastime this year?
This little guy.
Our great nephew.
They were almost inseparable.
He climbed a flight of stairs for the first time ever
when she was at the top of it.
I swear I heard him calling her name.
One more tradition...
Mona and Honey's tree.
All of the cousins have loved it.
Now joined by the first of the next generation.
