It all started when Lee took me on a date
for lunch and dessert
on Valentine's Day.
(I TOTALLY recommend that!)
Bethany had asked him what he was going to do for me
and when he told her, she suggested that
we could maybe bring a little something home.
The sprinkles reminded me that
I had some at home, and also the ingredients for cake balls.
Red velvet, no less.
Red velvet, no less.
(I may have mentioned before that I have a bit of a thing for sprinkles.)
I had been putting off making them since before Christmas,
because they are SO time consuming!
But Bethany had wanted them.
So we left the expensive French desserts at the cafe
(except for a little bit of leftovers from our own),
and I went home and took my stuff out.

(Can I just say that red velvet cake batter makes me a little uneasy?)
SEVERAL hours later they were done.
Bethany helped me cut out the heart shapes.
That was about it.
I got nothing else done that day.
Bakerella, you wooed me again with your tantalizing cuteness.

You and the sprinkles, that is.
