Mind games

Here's that museum we visited yesterday. It's all about electricity and magnetics. It was quite interactive, and had some very fun activities. Both of the kids loved this one, but I thought that perhaps its designer had a sadistic streak.

The object of the game was to move the ball down the table to the end nearest your opponent. The ball started in the middle of the table, and you put on the head band with electrodes to record your brain waves. The person with the most relaxed waves wins.

So what happens to the intense competitor among us?

Well, it wasn't too easy for poor Ben to relax when the ball was coming his direction. It looks like he may have won this one, though.

We should have relaxing competitions more often. Maybe a little practice would help.

If his expression tell us anything he's oozing competitiveness. Those are great shots.

I wonder how much brain wave activity I have. hmmmm

Your definatly right. Thank you, that helps a lot. I suppose I just need to not worry and just trust that the Lord has lead me to make the right decisions. And like you said they help me become me and I can always change them. And as for the bikini, ha, i guess i might as well try it. It could help me build my confidence and if i dont like it i dont have to wear it. lol. And as for the mind game? I would certainly lose! lol.

:) Do they sell a home version?

I know which of my children would win every time, and which one's face would get more and more tortured.

Clearly Ben doesn't know about his "Nothing Box" yet. Its been said that womens' thoughts are like spaghetti with our thoughts always intertwining, but that men are like waffles, each with their own little box. One of the boxes is the "Nothing Box" which houses well, nothing. If he could tap into this then he could beat anyone at the mindball game, especially us girls.

I love his face. He is concentrating so hard I'm betting he doesn't even know you're taking a picture!
