Frozen frolicking

P1610296

I've never been much of a city girl

P1610323

(or at least, so I thought)

P1610317

P1610358

but lately I keep finding myself

P1610371

drawn downtown to explore

P1610380

all the details!

P1610421

Even in the cold.
Because people around here embrace it.

P1610425

We might as well too!

You all really do have some beautiful buildings and sites to see up there. I'm having a hard time viewing the flicker pictures. I'll try again later. My computer is being slow for some reason.
You all are brave to venture out in the cold.

I love cities! Especially in the cold and rain. Reminds me of Vancouver. :)
Great pics!

I was raised in the burbs, and Mr. Fairway grew up in a small town. In our mid-20s we moved to DC and lived in the city. What an awesome experience! The city is just so connected to life, somehow. Love your snaps! Hope you're hunkered down and ready for the Monster Storm that's coming your way...
