Things that go bump in the night

DSC_0001

This year, in the interest of getting my kids off the streets
before they were those too big trick-or-treaters
that people see coming and quickly turn their lights off,
I agreed to a party.
Because kids still want an excuse to dress up and eat candy.
Can you really blame them?
Bethany is getting this party planning business down to an art,
thanks to Pinterest.

She and her friend made

Of course, there were games and other festivities.
Who knew a group of middle schoolers would be so easy to have?
It was a fun, and relatively bump free night!

Fun, fun! I love that door decoration - tried to pin it on Pinterest but couldn't get it to work. I'd love to do that next year. Hope I can remember it. :) blessings, marlene

So, what is the cut off age? I was kind of feeling unbelievably sad when Kaish said he wasn't going to go. At the last minute he decided to do it with his friends. There was a group of about 25 boys his age. I didn't mind at all and happily dumped candy into their bags, but I did wonder if other people would mind.

I am glad you had a party. You are the best kind of mommy! Little B is a brilliant party planner!
