The kids had Thursday and Friday off of school this week. I love when that happens because we have some much needed down time to do things we don't often have time to do. Like make pancakes.
Ben came in while Bethany was cooking to tell me the complete play by play of his Wii baseball game. And I had time to listen.
He also did his homework. Standing up. Because I'm pretty sure his brain is in his seat and if he sits on it he can't think.
He finished quick and joined the pancake action. He is no spectator, my boy.
Perfect morning, I tell you.

Can you just get the camera a little closer to those pancakes. No fair. Those look so good. What a nice time to have two days off. We haven't had that yet. They did have a half day on Friday.
This year we get a full week at Thanksgiving. I'm so excited as that is a firt.
They sure looked like they enjoyed the morning and the down time too.

Pancakes are very good things. Your children look very much like their mother! blessings, marlene
