Heavenly Day

Today our weather was 72º worth of gorgeous,
so we decided to have a picnic supper by the lake.

The landscape is still a little barren around here,

but there are glimpses of color

and plenty of signs of life.

It turns out that we brought along some color of our own.

Our kids' meals supplied us with some lovely clappers

which doubled as musical instruments

and a picture frame.

Uh oh.  Better square it up!  There.

Yes, it WAS heavenly!

WOW! That's a change from a few months ago - throwing up a cup of boiling water and seeing it turn into clouds! Good to see the kids in short sleeves too. Makes an old Aussie girl feel at home :)

You are blessed to have such a beautiful area in your neighborhood! It looked so peaceful and like you were all enjoying yourselves.
I agree with Givinya, that´s a big difference from a few months ago!

Thanks for the FIF comment. I used PSE6 on my old PC until a few weeks ago when we got the iMac. I had a "PSE6 Book for Dummies" I used then. But most of the time I just played around with some of the settings and learned what I liked. Trust me I screwed up TONS of pics, but it was worth learning how to do certain things. Let me know if you are looking for something specific and I can try to help :-)

72? Sunny? But I thought you lived in the Upper Midwest? Superior Snaps, BTW. Enjoy your lovely weather, too! And PS: Please pop over to participate in Sx3 today. We're in serious Donald Trump Mode!

We had Subway for dinner on Sunday after working on our garage all afternoon. Katie got those blow-up things in her kids meal. We did not open them, but I told Phil that I thought that's what they were. Now, I can show him your pics to let him know I was right.

I love these pictures. Your kids are so cute. That last one is priceless. IT's going to be 80 here in Salt Lake today. Tomorrow it will be 50 and rainy. But that's OK with me, I love the rain.
