the tulips are gorgeous though! so the lesson might be... beauty can come from places you weren't expecting? or from sources other than your first choice? trying to be profound here!
I'm following you along the the lines of being content (if not even pleasantly surprised) with what you have. Or, how about...if the tulips grow in your garden, chances are the bunnies will get to them before you do, so why not save yourself the hassle and go for the sure thing? ;-) Nice to have a friendly face show up today!
If there is still snow on your garden during Holy Week, it's probably a good time to pick up a bouquet of flowers at the grocery store.
