She's all grown up now.
Thirteen.
But…
then again, she's all little girl.
All little girl.
And all grown up.
All the time.
All of everything.
It is nearly an impossible job,
this being thirteen.
It's a lot like being Wonder Woman.
Wearing shorts under your dress helps.
Because you never know when you'll need them.
We love you Bethany.
All of your grown-upness. All of your little-girlness.
All of you.
You still take our breath away,
and we could not be more proud to be your parents!

Love these pics - she's so lovely and at the same time still a fun kid! Your baby is growing up...

Oh, happy, happy birthday, Bethany! What lovely photos (as usual!) Tracy, I love your blog. You keep on posting little things when those of us who started with a bang begin to fizzle a little! (Lots of fizzle on my blog, and no great urgency to write!) It's nice to know you're still here writing and taking photos, even when I forget to enter blogland for weeks on end, and forget to comment when I finally do!
No she is not. Surely not thirteen already! :) She's the same age as my granddaughter who will be thirteen on the fourth of July. How did this happen? blessings, marlene
This made me cry. Literally sitting at my desk crying. I love how much you love her.
And now *I* feel like I'm the one entering the sanctuary. My blogreader flip-flopped a couple weeks ago, so I totally missed this when you first posted. I adore how you've so perfectly captured Bethany standing on the precipice of a new "age". Watching these "little ones" grow up is such a privilege...
You perfectly captured her personality in these pictures...the tomboy that is growing up into a beautiful young woman. Love you both!
