Fall in the Twin Cities is glorious.
It seemed imperative that we organize a photo walk for Photo 52.
Fall is a busy season, but how could we not find a way?
Thankfully Heather is game to try anything. AND she knows her way around town.
So she suggested St. Anthony Main, with the famous Stone Arch Bridge.
We met for lunch, and braved the rain afterward.
Our cameras may or may not have gotten a little soggy.
But that didn't dampen our spirits!
The sun would prevail, after all.
It was a popular place that day.
I love the fact that so many in our group ventured out on this unlikely day.
Many discovered something new about our city.
Hopefully some discovered a new thing or two about photography.
You know what I most often discover?
The creativity of God,
and the resourcefulness of people.
I love that.
Why do I do Photo 52?
In hopes that people will discover the beauty of creation
and love the Creator more.
Photography is so therapeutic,
but the power is in discovering what has been there all along.

I think you know that I have also absolutely loved Photo 52 - it's been wonderful and I'm so thankful to you for doing it!! It's been fun and therapeutic - and a journey of discovery. For me, for sure, your hopes are realized.
these are FABULOUS!!! You know I appreciate your eye for composition. + Weather always makes for beautiful landscapes. + Soaking wet not-stopped-by-a-little-rain photographers make me smile. + I think all photo walks should include good coffee and gelato!!! :-D
