I love living in the Twin Cities.
Two totally distinct downtown areas.
One with the sprawling business district and abundant skyscrapers.
The other with more of the government, history and nostalgia.
This was a weekend to hang out in St. Paul.
Specifically, the farmers market.
Beautiful colors and enticing scents.
The sound of local folk musicians.
Happy and appreciative crowds.
Bee man.
Balloon Man.
Corn girls.
Selling.
Eating.
Quick stops at the fountain,
with the Peanuts gang relaxing nearby.
Perfect way to spend a gorgeous Saturday!

How fun - and delicious! - and beautiful!!
Btw, one of my bocce team mates is a frequent sub for one of the Roe Family singers. He even toured w/ them out east, earlier in the summer.
:-)
PS: I just love St. Paul - esp all the Peanuts gang sightings!! They always make me feel so happy!!!
We have a much smaller version of your farmer's market, complete with musicians. I love going! blessings, marlene
these pictures are such a fun, pretty piece of current day Americana :-)
I love farmers markets : ). So many things to see and do. I keep meaning to wake Kaish up early some Saturday to go.
