Inspiration

If you read my post from earlier today, you know that I've been wishing for some time and inspiration for blogging.  And that I was going to play a game of Scrabble with Ben instead.  Five minutes later...

Ben (age 11):  Oohhh!  I have a great play!  But I'm not sure you'll allow it.
Me:  Really?  Why?
Ben:  You want me to play it?
Me:  Sure.

So yeah, I had to move the "s" a little ways out of the corner where he wanted to put it to maintain my rated G blog status.  But you couldn't blame him for trying.  I was tempted to just give him the points, but then he found an even better place to use it over on the other side of the board to get a double word by making "cars". Whew.

I may not have time to put two coherent sentences together, but I'm definitely having fun with kids who make me laugh.  :-)

For future reference, if you challenge it, you'll win. :-)

Good to know, Dave! I really thought that if you could use it I would at least be aware of it. :-)

Cute! I've recently rediscovered Scrabble and have been playing on my IPad. I think at my age it's a good brain exercise. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :) blessings, marlene

Ha the S is definitely better at the end of that word. Sorry I haven't checked in so long. I've missed your blog and visiting around. I just took a break for a while. I so admire for keeping up your great blog. Maybe after school starts I can check in more often. Just wanted to tell you I was thinking of you.

I am so slow. I thought that the first picture was showing an incomplete attempt to make the word "Satan" and then I though you meant the S had come from the beginning of "San" although it's not a word. Then because of my massive intellect, I got it. And laughed. Clever Ben, and well done finding another spot for the S. More points than Satan, too.

: ) Ha Ha HA! I would have let him play it : )
We have a brand new bannana grams game, but I don't know how to play it. I think it is like scrabble.
