Help a girl out, would you?

I'm so excited. Our zoo is sponsoring a photo contest. The grand prize is a camera. A BIG camera. I'm daring to believe you don't have to OWN a big camera to WIN a big camera. Because what would be the point of that?

I need your opinion. I may need several opinions on different categories before it is all over. Not to mention VOTES. But first I have to be in the running.

There are some extremely photogenic animals on the trail...take this amur leopard, for example. Handsome, no? I bet he poses like this for all the girls. If you had to vote, which pose would you choose?

OR...

would you poke the sleeping bear instead?

God's fireworks

This weekend we will be among the seekers of fabulous fireworks. But the show in the sky will really be no more spectacular than what has appeared in the heavens these last few weeks around here.
