What goes around comes around!

The kids are on break this week, and they woke up bright and early, eager to plan the day's festivities for Dad. They knew there was a cake to be made, presents to be wrapped, and cards to be created. They all but dragged me out of bed. (Lee had them give him a birthday back rub to buy me a few extra minutes.) So we spent much of the day getting everything all ready.

The kids did almost everything themselves--they did an amazing job! But wait! What is that wrapping paper? Isn't it...

...why yes! Yes it is! Christmas paper. In fact, the very paper that Lee rescued out of a dumpster while helping clean out the church storage garage last weekend. Lucky me! Bethany noticed it in our bedroom where he left it, and thought it would be perfect. So did I.  ;-)

  1. Happy Birthday to Lee! He is my kind of guy. Rescuing usable wrapping paper out of the dumpster is awesome. This is coming from a woman who irons used wrapping tissue. :)
The kids did a great job with the wrapping, the cake and cards. Don't you love their handmade cards?
Great pictures on the post below too. You can't beat a Georgia Boy can you!
