Walking the Talk

Today I caught wind of something truly inspirational.  Every day Blogger chooses one worthy blog to honor as "Blog of Note".  I must say that it's not too often I consider them noteworthy.  Today is different!  The blog of the day is Can of Worms.  It's written by a young guy who was working with youth, and decided that after all the talk with them about putting their faith into action, it was time to be the example.  All of this led him to northern Iraq to work for a relief angency--and what a journey!!  The link above will take you to his blog, but more important is the site that tells about the amazing project that he and a friend eventually started to help children in need:  Buy shoes.  Save lives.  Anyone out there like shoes?  Check this out!  And be sure to read the bio information about the two founders under "about".  Enough to warm your heart on a wintery day!
